Patriots place Harvey Langi on injured list

FOXBORO — Patriots rookie Harvey Langi, who was injured when his car was rear-ended in Foxboro on October 14, was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list by the team.

The move likely means Langi's season is over and he will no longer count against the 53-man roster. He was listed as inactive before the Patriots last two games.

Langi and his wife are both recovering from injuries suffered in the crash.

The Patriots signed linebacker Trevor Reilly to the 53-man roster to take Langi's place. Reilly was previously signed to the Patriots practice squad October 12. Defensive Lineman Mike Purcell took Reilly's spot on the practice squad.
