FOXBORO — The Patriots have completed a trade with the Cleveland Browns, acquiring Jason McCourty and a seventh round pick in this year's draft in exchange for a sixth round pick in this year's draft.

Jason McCourty, 30-years-old, has played nine years in the National Football League, spending eight years in Tennessee and 2017 in Cleveland. He has 16 career interceptions, but has never played in a postseason game.

Devin McCourty responded as you'd expect on Twitter.

Jason McCourty will fill the void at cornerback left by Malcolm Butler, who officially signed with the Titans on Thursday.
