BOSTON — An MRI on the ankle of Celtic's guard Marcus Smart came back clean Friday but the time table on his return in still uncertain.

The good news is that the injury is simply a sprained ankle but Smart's availability for the teams season opener Wednesday is still up in the air.

If Smart is unable to play Brad Stevens will most likely turn to Terry Rozier to fill in at guard.
