• Mitch Moreland signs two-year deal with Red Sox

    BOSTON - The Red Sox have come to terms with Mitch Moreland on a two-year deal, the club announced Monday afternoon. 

    Moreland returns to the Sox after hitting .246 with 22 home runs and 34 doubles in 2017. 

    During his first season in Boston, Moreland fractured the big toe on his left foot but did never went on the disabled list, playing through a pain which clearly limited his ability to perform.
