Jerome Robinson receives weekly ACC honor

CHESTNUT HILL — Boston College sophomore guard Jerome Robinson was named Co-Player of the Week by the ACC on Monday.

Robinson averaged 27.5 points per game as BC won a pair of games last week. He scored a career-high 32 points in the Eagles win over Sacred Heart Sunday afternoon.

The honor was shared with North Carolina's Justin Jackson.

Robinson ranks second in scoring in the ACC, averaging 20.5 points per game. He has scored 20 points in a game seven times this season, tied for most in the ACC.

BC faces Fairfield Wednesday night at Mohegan Sun Arena as part of the Birthday of Basketball doubleheader.

The Eagles host Providence Friday at 4pm at Conte Forum.
