CHESTNUT HILL — Boston College freshman AJ Dillon continues to pile up honors in the wake of his breakout performance against Louisville last Saturday.

Dillon rushed for 272 yards and four touchdowns as the Eagles beat the Cardinals 45-42.

Sunday, Dillon was named Walter Camp National Player of the Week.  Monday, he was named ACC Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week and Wednesday, he received the Gold Helmet Award from the New England Football Writers Association.

BC travels to Virginia this Saturday to face the 5-1 Cavaliers. Quarterback Anthony Brown, who left Saturday's game against Louisville with a shoulder injury, is expected to start if healthy.

When Brown was injured, Darius Wade played well in his place, completing seven of 10 passes for 91 yards.

"I don't know the status of everybody yet injury wise and everything else," said coach Steve Addazio. "I'm proud of both of them. I'm proud of the way they both played in that environment. And so, that's the way it should be. You should have enough hopefully enough talent there at that position where it doesn't need to drop off; you should be able to play."
