Evan Gwozdz leads Middleboro to Divsion 6 title

FOXBORO — It had been 34 years since Middleboro last won a high school state football championship.  Quarterback Evan Gwozdz made sure the Sachems would wait no more.

On Saturday at Gillette Stadium Gwozdz took the game over against Littleton.  Gwozdz was directly responsible for six touchdowns.  He passed for four of them and ran two in himself

Gwozdz threw for 209 yards passing and rushed for 58. Cole O'Brien caught two touchdown passes. Running back Jeremy Soule rushed for 102 yards

But Gwozdz was the real story.  He led Middleboro to 31 second half points and to their first state championship since 1983
