Dion Lewis returns to Patriots practice

FOXBORO — Dion Lewis, who hasn't played in a game since tearing his ACL against the Redskins last season, was back on the practice field for the first time this regular season.

It's unexpected that Lewis will play this weekend when the Patriots battle the Bills, but it's not unrealistic to predict he might be in the lineup on November 13 when the Seahawks come to Foxboro.

James White and LeGarrette Blount have handled the load from the backfield this year, combining for 658 yards rushing, 275 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns.
