Dion Lewis expected to return to practice this week

Tom Brady could be adding another weapon to his arsenal in the next 3 weeks. According to an NFL Network report running back Dion Lewis will begin practicing this week.

Bill Belichick was asked Tuesday morning if Lewis will be back on the practice field, he would confirm or deny it just gave the answer you'd expect “If he is, we’ll let you know,” he said.

Dion Lewis was extremely productive before tearing his ACL in week 7 against the Redskins. Lewis caught 36 passes for 388 yards (10.8 average). Lewis also added 49 carries for 234 yards (4.8) as the change-of-pace complement to LeGarrette Blount.

Once Lewis begins practicing, the team has 21 days to activate him to the active roster, or else he reverts back to injured reserve.
