Chris Sale named opening day starter

Just over a week until the regular season begins Red Sox manager Alex Cora announced his pitching rotation and Chris Sale gets the nod on opening day in Tampa. David Price will pitch the second game, followed by Rick Porcello.  Eduardo Rodriguez would start the fourth game if he's ready. and Brian Johnson is being prepared as the fifth starter.

The Red Sox will have a different opening day starter for the fifth straight season (Porcello, Price, Clay Buchholz, and Jon Lester) started the previous four.

Sale has a 3.21 ERA in three Grapefruit League starts, he will pitch one more time before the opener.
