Celtics give back with annual Tip-Off Gala

At the Museum of Fine Arts, the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation held its annual Tip-Off Gala. The Gala, presented by New England Baptist Hospital, raises funds for Boston area children’s charities.

The event gave an exclusive preview of the 2016-17 season and the players participated in multiple panel discussions with ESPN Basketball Analyst and Reporter Doris Burke.

Owners, coaches, and players of the Celtics organization were excited to come out and give back to help the Boston community.

“It’s about putting a smile on somebody else’s face, said Celtics guard, Isaiah Thomas. If you could just change one person’s life, you’ve done your job. That is what I like to do and this organization likes to do.”

The Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation partners with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, Horizons for Homeless Children, Perkins School for the Blind and many other organizations that provide education and support to children in need.
