Celtics get back to winning. Crush Magic

Jaylen Brown and Celtics crush Orlando

DEDHAM — It's time for the Boston Celtics to start another winning streak and on Friday night at TD Garden they wasted no time doing that against the Orlando Magic.

After seeing their 16 game winning streak come to an end Wednesday night in Miami, the Celtics came out with a purpose against the Magic.  They scored 40 points in the first quarter alone. In that quarter Kyrie Irving and Jaylen Brown each had 10 points and Jayson Tatum had 9.

It only got worse for the Magic from there.  The Celtics led by 27 at the half and then after three quarters were up by 31 and it was time for the bench to finish things out in the 4th quarter. The final score was 118-103 Celtics.

Terry Rozier and Aron Baynes played well off the bench.  Rozier had a career high 23 points. Baynes had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Irving led all scorers with a game high 30 points.  Jaylen Brown had 13 points and Jayson Tatum finished with 11 points.

The Celtics still have the NBA's best record at 17-3.  They will play the Pacers in Indiana on Sunday night up next
