Boston — Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley will spend Friday night in a hospital with an illness according to Jay King of Mass Live.

The Celtics claim that the illness is nothing serious.

"Avery's sick," Brad Stevens said before Friday night's game against the Phoenix Suns. "He had a stomach bug. He's been in the hospital most of the afternoon. Hopefully he'll be home soon and can get some rest. It's been kind of going around, so hopefully it stops soon."

Rookie Jaylen Brown will get the start in Bradley's absence.
