Firehouse Friday: Medway Fire Department

Firefighters put their lives on the line every day to save others. In today’s Firehouse Friday the Medway Fire Department shares with us their constant reminder to stay safe and get the job done. If you walk around the station, see the trucks, and Medway Fire Department apparel you will see the slogan: “Everyone goes home!”  The message is an initiative from the National Fallen Firefighters Association to keep firefighters safe. To stay safe, the men are training constantly so they are prepared if they are called. Medway has a burn trailer on site which is a great resource that allows firefighters to gain experience.  This year experience is paying off. Medway is predicting a 15% increase in all types of calls due to town growth.
