Sugar, sports, celebrations – there’s a lot going on around town for the whole family this weekend!

  1. Maple Magic Day

Saturday,  March 4th – 8a-2p

Natick Community Farms is hosting Maple Magic Day tomorrow.  It all starts at 8am with a big pancake breakfast with their homemade maple syrup!  The day continues with  tours of the Sugar Shack, maple sugaring demonstrations, live folk music, dancing, raffles and more.

  1. WAMDA 5k Run/Walk

Saturday, March 4 -- 11am

Wednesday was the start of National Nutrition Month, so what better way to celebrate than with a 5k benefiting the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.  The Western Area Massachusetts Dietetic Association is hosting is 24th annual 5k run/walk in North Hampton tomorrow to help reduce hunger, increase food security, and make nutritious food affordable and accessible.  Registration is still open!

  1. Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Massachusetts

Saturday, March 4

Take a dip in the icy cold waters at Nantasket or Revere Beaches to help raise money for Special Olympics Massachusetts.Their programs provide opportunities for nearly 12,000 athletes to participate in sports training and competition. Registration is open through 10am tomorrow morning.

  1. The Boston Calendar Pick of the Week: 247th Commemoration & Reenactment of the Boston Massacre

Saturday, March 4th -- 10:30a-8:00p

Spend your Saturday in Boston at the 247th  Commemoration and Reenactment of the Boston Massacre. The full day event honors the anniversary with a reenactment, performances, and historical stories.  It all begins at 10:30 tomorrow morning at the site of the historic event, just outside the Old State House.
