Temperatures may be cooling down this weekend, but events around town are still heating up! There's plenty of fun to choose from!
Tomorrow we are on the road again. This time, we'll land ourselves in Marlborough for this week's Zip Trip. We have a great morning planned with two incredible hometown heroes, an impressive team, delicious food samples, and much more! Join us at ward park between 6 and 10 or tune in and enjoy!
Next, explore the My Caribbean One World Expo this Saturday. The fifth annual event promotes the diverse Caribbean culture right here in Boston with arts and crafts, beautiful dancing, vibrant music, and culinary delights! The event opens at 11am at it's new location: the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Admission is free.
Finally, the 2017 Run to Home Base is back at Fenway Saturday. Participants can choose between a 9k run or 5k run or walk. All races finish on the field at the iconic Fenway Park. Spectators can meet Wally and his sister Tessie, snap photos with some of the World Series trophies, play games, and meet some Red Sox legends. All proceeds go to Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital program dedicated to healing the invisible wounds for post 9/11 veterans, service members, and their families. The races begins at 8am. There's still time to register or donate to the great cause.
Whatever you do this weekend, make it a great one.
