A new month calls for a new set of adventures and this weekend is the perfect time to get started!
1. Norfolk Zip Trip
Friday, August 4th -- 6-10am
We are Zip Tripping to Norfolk, home of one stoplight and plenty of roundabouts, tomorrow. We'll be live from Town Hill from 6-10am with a dynamic Hometown Hero, promising young team, great food, and much more! Stop by to say hi or tune in to the action.
2. The Saint Agrippina Feast
Thursday, August 3rd - Sunday, August 8th
A long-standing tradition takes place on Hanover and Battery Streets in the North End tonight through Sunday. In it's 103rd year, the Saint Agrippina Feast honors the legacy of Saint Agrippina di Mineo, Siciliy. The four-day street festival consists of music, an array of food and beverage options, parades, raffles and games. And you won't want to miss the grand finale Sunday night at 8pm: the famous Tug of War. We can't wait to find out who will be this year's winner!
3. World Lion Day at Franklin Park Zoo
Saturday, August 5th -- 10am - 3pm
Saturday is World Lion Day. Join lion brothers, Dinari and Kamaia,, at the Franklin Park Zoo to learn more about the species in general and about the impressive conservation efforts on their behalf. There will also be lion-inspired crafts for kids to get their hands on.
Whatever you do this weekend, make it a great one!
