CONCORD, NH — A man was arrested for allegedly stabbing and killing a young woman late Tuesday evening in Concord, New Hampshire, said the Attorney General.

Around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the report of an injured person in a car at 369 North State St. in Concord. Police found 23-year-old Sabrina Marie Galusha with a stab wound to the chest. Her friend had been trying to drive her to the hospital.

Galusha was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Early investigation has revealed that the actual stabbing happened outside the Penacook Place Apartments at 36 Pinehurst St. in Concord.
The attorney general said they have arrested 20-year-old Daswan Jette of Concord, New Hampshire on Wednesday. He's been charged with alternate counts of knowing and reckless second-degree murder.
Local officer helps family found sleeping in car
Jette is expected to be arraigned Thursday at the Merrimack County Superior Court.
