Yarmouth man found passed out in car at gas pump with foot on brake

YARMOUTH Mass. (WFXT/MyFoxBoston.com) — A South Yarmouth man was arrested Sunday after he was reportedly found passed out in his car with the vehicle in drive and his foot on the brake.

Yarmouth police said Stephen M. Morin, 26, was arrested after being found passed out behind the wheel of a 2012 Honda Civic at a gas pump at Station Avenue Mobil.

Officers said the engine was running and the vehicle was in drive, but the doors were locked. They said Morin had his foot on the brake.

He was later taken to Cape Cod hospital for an evaluation.

Morin faces several charges including, operating under the influence of drugs, operating on a suspended driver's license, warrant for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, felony possession of class A heroin with intent to distribute, and possession of class E Alprazolam.

Morin was arraigned in Barnstable District Court Monday.
