Wrestler-in-training accused of assaulting former girlfriend

HAVERHILL, Mass. — A local professional wrestler accused of attacking his pregnant girlfriend is out on bail, and late Tuesday night he posted a Facebook message saying he had messed up.

In court, Terrence Jean-Jacques faces his accuser, the mother of his unborn child.

"He was screaming in my ear, he was screaming in my face. It's just an angry tone of voice," Jillian Gilman said in court.

Gilman said the couple had been together since July of 2015, and she's now six months pregnant with their daughter.

She said the attack happened last week after Jean-Jacques returned home from Florida where he's training to wrestle for the WWE.

"He pushed me and pushed me on to the bed and sat on my legs and pinned down my wrists and told me I wasn't leaving," she said.

Hours after the hearing, a Facebook post on Jean-Jacques' Facebook page.

"The people who matter know who I really am as a person, and the truth will come out. I will be back," it said.

As for his training, the WWE sent FOX25 a statement saying: "We have zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Terrance Jean-Jacques has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest."

While he is out of jail, Jean-Jacques has been ordered to wear a GPS tracking device.
