BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Attending a World Series game at Fenway Park will cost significantly more than at Busch Stadium.
According to the Boston Business Journal, the average resale price of a World Series ticket is 81-percent more in Boston than in St. Louis.
Sox fans looking for tickets in the resale market will have to hand over nearly $1,700 on average to see a game at Fenway, with the lowest ticket costing $359 for game one. That can be compared to the nearly $1,000 St. Louis fans are expected to pay at Busch Stadium, where the lowest price for game three is $283.
The journal used ticket prices from TiqIQ to determine the difference in pricing. They say this year's World Series ticket prices beat the previous record by $3.
Game one of the World Series between the Red Sox and Cardinals will kick off Wednesday night on FOX 25.
