Worcester remembers fallen firefighter Jon Davies

WORCESTER (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Worcester honored a firefighter killed in the line of duty on Saturday.

The community gathered together to remember Jon Davies at site where he lost his life.

Davies was killed on Dec. 8, 2011 after the second floor of the three family building at 49 Arlington Street collapsed. The 43-year-old's partner was also trapped in the collapse.

December is an especially difficult month for the Worcester Fire Department. Earlier this week, the city remembered six firefighters killed in the Worcester cold storage fire back in 1999.
