Worcester Police search for man who broke into home, attacked woman

WORCESTER (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Worcester Police are searching for a suspect who entered a woman's apartment and attacked her on Thursday afternoon.

Police arrived at the apartment on Country Club Blvd. at about 12:15 p.m. for reports of a home invasion. The resident told police that a man wearing a mask forced his way into her apartment through a back door. The woman said the man then attacked her and she fought back.

The woman told police the suspect fled the scene on foot toward Lincoln Street. Police searched the area, but did not find the suspect.
