Worcester man accused of DUI in wrong-way crash

WORCESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police accuse a 65-year-old Worcester man of being under the influence in a wrong way crash that involved a police cruiser.

The Worcester Telegram reports Philip Turner is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs in the Tuesday crash.

Investigators say Turner drove into one of two cruisers responding to reports of an erratic driver just before noon. Turner was reportedly driving the wrong way down a one-way street at the time of the crash.

The 65-year-old was transported to the hospital where he was later arrested.
