WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Worcester police are calling the shooting deaths of two people found on the porch of a city home a case of domestic violence.
Police responding to a call found the man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds at a Hadwen Road home at about 7:45 a.m. Monday. They were taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and did not release names.
But court officials confirmed to The Telegram & Gazette (http://bit.ly/ZkUEkT) that the woman who died was 37-year-old Glomerys Martinez, who worked as a court officer in Suffolk Superior Court.
The home is owned by a Worcester police officer, but authorities say he rents the building and does not live there.
