Worcester, Boston named most dangerous U.S. cities for drivers in new report

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Two Massachusetts cities were considered the first and second most dangerous U.S. cities for drivers.

Worcester was considered the worst city in the nation for car collision frequency, while Boston was second. Springfield was fourth in the report by Allstate.

Allstate claims the average driver in Boston experiences a collision every 4.4 years and is almost 130-percent more likely to crash than the average American.

Fort Collins, Colorado was considered the safest driving city for the fourth year.

According to the insurance company, the annual Best Drivers Report was created to facilitate ongoing dialogue about safe driving.
