• Woman stabbed after going to suspect’s house to fight


    WORCESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A woman was stabbed after she went to another woman's house to fight, according to Worcester police.

    Police said 25-year-old Mallory Shelly, of Worcester, was arrested at her home and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed assault with intent to murder in connection with the Friday evening incident.

    The victim told police she had problems with Shelly and had gone to her home to fight at about 8 p.m. The fight then spilled into the street and the victim was stabbed several times in the arm and shoulder, before running away.

    She later went to UMass Memorial Hospital and was treated for the stab wounds, which were not life-threatening.

    Shelly was held in lieu of $10,040 cash bail.
