Woman stabbed after fight at popular Worcester burger joint

WORCESTER, Mass. — Police say a 21-year-old woman has been stabbed at a Worcester burger joint following a dispute with a fellow employee.

The Worcester Telegram & Gazette reports officers were called to the scene at Wild Willy's Burgers Sunday morning.

The victim told police she had fought with a 19-year-old employee in the store bathroom before other co-workers broke it up.

Police say the teen went into the kitchen after the two were separated and grabbed a knife.

Police say the victim was stabbed in the hand before other employees grabbed the teen and took the knife away.

A hospital spokesman says the victim is in good condition. Police say the suspect has yet to be located as of Sunday afternoon.

The restaurant was closed for business Sunday.
