Woman shot and killed after police chase in NH

MANCHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Authorities in Manchester, N.H. are investigating a trooper-involved shooting that occurred at the intersection of Dave Street and Kennard Road Monday night.

According to the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office, the incident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. A car chase ended in gunfire when a state trooper discharged his weapon, killing a woman.

One neighbor tells FOX 25 he heard shots being fired and exited his home to see the woman's car pushed into the back of a cruiser with its airbags deployed. He says the woman was quickly taken from her car and put into an ambulance.

Two neighbors said they saw several bullet holes in the windshield.

No officers or troopers were injured. Investigators did not release details of the chase Tuesday morning.
