Woman seriously injured when snowmobile crashes into bridge

PITTSBURG, N.H. — A New Hampshire woman was seriously injured Sunday when the snowmobile she was driving crashed into a bridge.

Officials told Boston 25 News the woman, Ashley Riopel, 29, of Laconia, New Hampshire, crashed into the bridge when she lost control while navigating a turn in the Northern Indian Stream area.

Riopel was taken to the Deer Mountain Campground in Pittsburg where staff called 911.

She was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon for treatment.
