SOUTH BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A 44-year-old woman was injured after she walked into a pit at the Andrews MBTA station in South Boston.
It happened on Monday afternoon, said Joe Pesaturo, an MBTA spokesman. She did not make contact with the rail. A passenger helped her get out of the pit.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was taken to Boston Medical Center with a minor leg injury.
