Winter is finally releasing its grip, spring weather starting to take hold

We escaped a storm (finally) and had a taste of spring in its wake. It has, after all, been spring since last week, or March 1 meteorologically, so it shouldn't be a big surprise.

Temperatures soared to 50 degrees Tuesday. Nights will still cool into the 20s, but the days will continue to get to least 50. Those cold night temperatures could mean a few snow showers Wednesday night mixing with rain showers into Thursday morning. There are no big storm threats through Easter weekend. Temperatures Easter Sunday even threaten to be in the mid-50s.

Looks like some rain on the way Monday and that Euro model is showing a snow/rain threat by next Thursday. Winter is battling to hold on!
