Why New Hampshire is such an important swing state

BOSTON — Anyone who’s watched previous presidential elections knows there are a handful of swing states across the country that can help decide the outcome.

New Hampshire is usually among that group, but with only four Electoral College votes out of 538 total, the question quickly turns to why.
