WESTFORD (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A Westford firefighter and his sisters will deliver hundreds of donations to New York on Monday for families impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
Firefighter David Devincentis and his sisters Kara Valcourt and Wendy Turcotte began a grass roots effort one week ago for the families impacted by Sandy. By Friday night, the family was organizing hundreds of donations that include clothes, food, and cleaning supplies.
Volunteers will begin to load a donated Palmers Movers truck on Saturday. If you'd like to donate anything to the effort you can head to Westford Fire Station 3 on Town Farm Road before 4 p.m. Saturday.
