Wellesley, State Police searching for break-in suspects

WELLESLEY, Mass. — Police in Wellesley are searching for a pair of suspects in a home break-in.

Police and search dogs have been working for several hours near Falmouth Road and Scotch Pine Road. They say it happened around 1:20 Wednesday afternoon when a landscaping company showed up at 45 Falmouth Road and as they pulled up, they saw two men running from the home. Soon after, the homeowner came back and the landscaping company told her what happened.

The woman called police, who showed up to find a forced break-in entry through a rear window.

“No one was injured. There was no vehicles seen in connection to this. The police department contacted the State Police Air Wing and the Massachusetts State Police K9 to respond and assist with a search in the area” said Lt. Marie Cleary of the Wellesley Police Dept.

After searching for about an hour, Lt. Cleary says all resources were cleared. She also says there is no recent history of break-ins in that specific area.

The suspects are still at large.
