(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - One storm has passed, taking the rain and ice with it from southern New England.
It has been a big snow bonanza for ski areas in northern New Hampshire and Maine.
Winds will be gusty Wednesday, making it feel cooler than the 40s that it will be. Those winds will also continue to whip up the coastal waters. Small craft advisories and gale warnings are in place.
Meanwhile, our next storm will already be on our doorstep late Thursday.
It looks like another rain event in southern New England with a period of icing possible north and west of Worcester.
All of it changes to rain, even in northern New England, with this one. Much colder air comes blowing in behind the storm over the weekend.
Flurries are likely Saturday, possibly even accumulating lightly in western New England. That may be our only chance for snow before Christmas.
