Wedding to Remember Voting Rules


Prize Details: The Westin Copley Place in Boston, together with FOX25 (WFXT-TV), are giving one deserving member of the United States Armed Forces a free wedding to take place on Veteran's Day (11-11-12) at the Westin Copley Place.

Voting Instructions: On September 12, 2012, FOX25 Morning News, at the editorial discretion of the news department, will air interviews with the three (3) contest finalists chosen by contest judges based on the most compelling stories. FOX25 Morning News viewers and visitors to,,, and will be invited to vote for the contestant they feel most deserves "A Wedding To Remember" based on "highlights" of their essay posted on and their on-air interview as  broadcast on FOX25 on September 12th, 2012, providing breaking news does not prevent the interviews. Should there be a need to preempt the interviews, FOX25 will reschedule as soon as possible. Voting will begin when interviews are available to be posted after  10 a.m. (ET) on or about September 12, 2012 and continue through 2:00 p.m. (ET) on September 26, 2012. (or the day of and 14 days following the on-air interviews of the 3 finalists.) Finalists will be ranked 1-3 based on the numbers of votes they receive on Viewers' votes will count for 50% of the decision. Finalists will also be ranked 1-3 by contest judges. Their decision will be based on the person they determine most deserves a  "Wedding To Remember" through a written essay and on-air interview. Contest judges will count for 50% of the decision. In the event of a tie, the contestant receiving the highest ranking from the judges will be the winner. The winner will be announced during FOX25 Morning News on or about September 27, 2012.

September 26, 2012 @ 2:00 pm (ET)

ONLINE VOTING RULES:  To be eligible, Individuals wishing to participate during the Campaign Voting Period (each a "Voter" or collectively "Voters") must be residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, who are at least thirteen (13) years of age. The voting will begin when posted on 9/12/2012, and all votes must be received by 2:00  p.m. on 9/26/2012.  Voting will be limited to one vote per IP address  per day at  Voting must be manual. No bots or other automated voting is allowed.  Sponsor is not responsible for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, or delays in operations or transmissions, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive user votes.  If any person deliberately damages or attempts to damage any web site or otherwise undermine the legitimate operations or rules of the contest, Sponsor reserves the right to institute civil or criminal action against such person, and the affected contestant(s) may be disqualified in Sponsor's discretion.  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the contest, or, at its option, to select the winner by alternate means if, in Sponsor's discretion, the voting becomes technically or otherwise corrupted.  Sponsor reserves the right to eliminate votes made in violation of these voting rules.  Employees of The Westin Copley Place, ("Sponsor"), their affiliated companies, Fox Television Stations Inc., owner of television station WFXT FOX25, Bernie & Phyl's Furniture, Arthur Murray Dance Studios, The Paper Store, Montilio's Bakery and Cake Shoppe, L'Elite, Musette Bridal, Baron's Major Brands, GE Appliances, Sheraton Puerto Rico, their advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family and household members of each are not eligible to vote. This Program is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Inc. and any information submitted in conjunction with the Campaign is to the Sponsors, and not Facebook, Inc. By submitting a vote, Voters fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors, which are final and binding.
