Falling temperatures will mean some icy spots out there first thing Wednesday morning, mainly on untreated surfaces.
Wednesday will be a quiet day, but the next storm threat is already being watched.
An ocean storm will pass seemingly far out to sea, but it will have a connection to some upper air energy over New England. That connection, called a trough, will act as a focus point for a steady band of snow.
Several inches could accumulate Thursday night into Friday morning. The placement of that band will be tricky and is our challenge in the next couple of days. Bottom line is there is the possibility of more snow this week… and again early next week.
