WATCH: Emotional father of Parkland shooting victim speaks about school safety

PARKLAND, Fla. – The father of a Parkland shooting victim spoke frankly about his experience with security in the country in the wake of yet another school shooting.

Andrew Pollack’s daughter Meadow was one of the 17 victims of the shooting.

"My daughter has no voice. She was murdered last week. She was taken from us. Shot nine times on the third floor,” he said.

Pollack, along with other parents and family members, spoke during a meeting with President Trump.

“We as a country failed our children, this shouldn’t happen,” he said. “You go to the airport, I can’t get on a plane with bottled water but we leave it, some animal to walk into the school and shoot our children. It’s just not right.”

Pollack was joined by his sons, Huck and Hunter, during his plea to the president.

“How many schools, how many children have to get shot? It stops here with this administration and me. I’m not going to sleep until it’s fixed,” Pollack said.

During his four-minute speech, Pollack's emotions boiled over.

"It should have been one school shooting and we should have fixed it, and I'm pissed because my daughter I'm not going to see again," he said.
