Warrant issued for 15-year-old accused of murder

FALL RIVER, Mass. — An arrest warrant has been issued for 15-year-old who is accused of murdering a man in Fall River.

Monday night, 29-year-old Jerrod Cohen was found shot in an apartment on Plain Street. He was rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police have already arrested one juvenile, Joel Lopez, 16, of Fall River on Tuesday on the charge of murder.

Now police are trying to find Jayden Smith, 15, of Fall River, who is also facing a murder charge.

The Bristol County District Attorney's office is asking the public for any information regarding Smith's whereabouts. They ask that people do not approach him, and instead call Fall River Police at 508-324-2796 or by utilizing the department's anonymous tip lines at 508-672-TIPS(8477).
