Waltham officer facing child porn charges ordered to home confinement

(MyFoxBoston.com) – A Waltham police officer facing child porn charges was ordered to home confinement Thursday.

Paul Charles Manganelli, Jr., 46, has been ordered to live with his parents 24 hours a day, and he must refrain from using the Internet.

The Manganelli's offered to be their son's jailers and promised to turn him in if he crossed the line.

Manganelli has been a Waltham police officer since 1993 and is a DJ for parties and weddings.

Back in 2011, he hit the $100,000 a year from life jackpot off a lottery scratch ticket.

Manganelli is currently on paid administrative leave.
