Walpole teenager hospitalized after falling 30 feet off roof

WALPOLE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com)— A Walpole teenager was hospitalized after falling 30 feet from a school's roof early Friday.

Police arrived at the Fisher school on Gould Street around midnight. The 18-year-old boy suffered from head and facial trauma and potentially two fractured elbows. He was stabilized and airlifted to the Boston Medical center.

Seven other teenagers were also at the scene. Five of them were at least 18 years old. They allegedly were "challenging" each other and accessed the school's roof by climbing up a chain-linked fence and ventilation pipe.

Police plan to charge the individuals for trespassing.
