Walmart not hiring extra holiday help this year

BOSTON — If you’re looking to pick up a part-time job to make some extra cash this holiday season, don’t go to Walmart.

The company said it will not hire extra workers this year.

Instead, the retailer will offer overtime hours to its full-time employees.

The company said the move will give employees a little extra money for the holidays.

This comes after competitors, like Target, gear up to hire thousands of workers over the next few months.
