WINCHESTER, V.A. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Winchester, V.A. man was arrested Tuesday after police say he attempted to abduct a child on Green Street.
Margarito Cigarrora-Reyes, 25, was charged with abduction after the incident. Police allege the 25-year-old physically picked up a 9-year-old girl as she was getting into a vehicle. The child's caregiver yelled at the man and he fled the scene.
Cigarrora-Reyes was arrested in the 300-block of Green Street within two minutes of the police being contacted.
The child was not injured in the incident.
