Viral: Lightning strikes directly behind bridal party in Key Largo

KEY LARGO, Fla. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Mother Nature, apparently, couldn't hold her piece at a wedding in Key Largo.

A video going viral on YouTube shows the bridal party, in the midst of an oceanfront ceremony, when BLAM, lightning strikes!

It didn't look like anyone was hurt, nor did it appear anyone soiled themselves. The bridal party also appeared to be in good spirits, laughing the incident off before continuing with the ceremony.

FOX 25 chief meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz says that given the time between seeing the strike and hearing it, the bolt hit "way too close."

Side note: We're curious to see if the wedding photographer got the shot. Judging by his thumbs up, we're guessing he did.

The video has more than 380,000 views since being posted on April 19.
