VIDEO: Newton North team manager sinks three-point shot

NEWTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- After helping others achieve greatness for years, a high school basketball team manager is finally enjoying his moment in the spotlight.

Ryan Gallagher is a senior at Newton North High School and has been with the team for four years.

During the team's senior game on Friday night, coach Paul Connolly took Gallagher off the bench and onto the court.

The teen became the star of the game after sinking a three point shot. Newton North won the game 73 to 43.
