Victim killed in Dorchester shooting identified

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Boston police released the identity of a man who was killed in a shooting in Dorchester on Saturday, Nov. 16.

Officers responded to 8 Whitman Street just before 11 p.m. and found two men on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to Boston Medical Center, where one was later pronounced dead, according to police.

The man who died was identified Sunday by police as Andrew McGee, a 21-year-old from Dorchester.

No other details were released, and the homicide unit is investigating the incident and looking for information on the incident.
