Police in Dunbarton posted on their Facebook page Sunday night that a person was in custody, and Boston 25 News has reached out to officials for more information.

Few details about the shooting have been released by officials, but police said they responded to reports of the shooting in the parking lot of the Depot Street store before 4:30 p.m.

The victim has only been identified as a man, and police said everyone involved in the shooting had been identified. But at the time of their update, officials said no arrests had been made.

Beyond that, officials would not say how many people were involved in the shooting, or if anyone involved knew each other. While officials were vague on the details of the investigation, one local business owner did tell Boston 25 News that her restaurant was locked down for a time Sunday.

“We had people out on the patio earlier today,” Brenda Cadieux said. “Police said, ‘Everyone inside. Lock the doors. Don’t let anyone in or out.' We had no idea what was going on except for social media.”

Officials told Boston 25 news that they were processing a variety of scenes and interviewing people who knew those involved in the shooting.
