NATICK, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Army veterans replaced a helmet stolen from the Fallen Soldier's Memorial outside the Natick VFW.
Natick police asked for the public's help in tracking down the helmet after it was stolen Sept. 15.
Police say after media outlets reported the story, several veterans from wars in Iraq and Afghanistan visited the VFW to drop off other helmets that were worn overseas. While the original helmet remains missing, it was replaced with one of the donated helmets.
