TEWKSBURY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police in Tewksbury said they found a suspicious substance while conducting a security drill at Tewksbury High School Tuesday morning.
The school's superintendent, Dr. John O'Connor, told Fox 25 that a small amount of a suspicious substance was found inside the school and in the school's parking lot.
O'Connor said the substance was not chemical and was mostly found in the parking lot. He did not say what the substance was, only that it was "vegetable matter."
No arrests were made. It was not immediately known if any students were suspended.
